Taking inspiration from Tinkertoy. a child’s plaything,  the stairs were designed and fabricated in collaboration with the late artist Michael Talley. Constructed of anodized 6061 aluminum, the stairs were assembled from  more that 100 individually CNC machined hubs and 1.5” aluminum tube. The treads are made of industrially sourced fiberglass grating.
